Martin Guitar Releases Three New SC Model Guitars

C.F. Martin & Co. (Martin Guitar) announces the expansion of their SC line with the release of three new models. The SC-10E, SC-13E Special, and SC-13E Special Burst, which boast stunning upgrades and new features, are the perfect follow-up to the NAMM Best in Show, award winning original SC-13E acoustic-electric guitar introduced by Martin in 2020.

SC-10E

The SC-10E, with its patented Sure Align® neck system, gives players full access to all frets so they can comfortably reach those high notes. The new model is also equipped with a low-profile velocity neck barrel that ergonomically accommodates a player’s hand as they move up the neck, giving guitarists the comfort and playability of an electric. The affordably priced SC-10E includes a satin finished sitka spruce top, stunning koa fine veneer back and sides, Fishman MX-T electronics, and soundhole tuner. The design motif features a black and white aperture rosette inlay that is complimented by an ebony headplate, fingerboard, and bridge, and black tuners and knobs. List price $1,299.

SC-13E Special and SC-13E Special Burst

The SC-13E Special, takes the features of the award-winning original SC-13E to the next level with Sitka spruce gloss top and ziricote fine veneer gloss finished back and sides, and LR Baggs Element electronics. Both models include Martin’s patented Sure Align® neck system, and low-profile velocity neck that made the original SC-13E so revolutionary. The design motif features a ziricote and ivory-colored aperture rosette inlay with ebony headplate, fingerboard, and bridge. The Specials also shine with nickel open gear keyhole tuners with skeleton key knobs. This model is available with or without a burst top. List price for the SC-13 E Special is $1,799 and SC-13 E Special Burst is $1,999.
