Martin Guitar Unveils New Custom Shop Experience Center

Nazareth, PA - October 11, 2024


NAZARETH, PA – Martin Guitar, renowned for crafting the finest acoustic guitars in the world, is proud to announce the opening of its world-class Custom Shop Experience Center at its headquarters in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. This new facility aims to provide an unparalleled environment where Martin’s valued retailers, distributors, select customers, and artists can immerse themselves in the artistry and craftsmanship behind Martin’s custom-built instruments. 

Martin celebrated the opening of the new space with a private event for press and friends of the brand on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Executive Chairman Chris Martin IV and President and CEO Thomas Ripsam cut the ribbon and gave tours of the Center while brand Ambassador Craig Thatcher entertained guests with a live acoustic performance.

The 1,900 square foot Experience Center is more than just a workspace – it's a sanctuary for creativity and collaboration: 

  • Custom Shop Showcase: Visitors are greeted by a curated display of custom shop instruments upon entry, setting the tone for a personalized experience.
  • Modern Amenities: Features include a spacious lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen for meals and refreshments, and a private "Tone Booth" for testing and playing guitars.
  • Cutting-Edge Technology: Each room is equipped with high-definition screens for virtual meetings, showcasing custom shop imagery, and facilitating collaborative design sessions.
  • Inspiration Everywhere: Cabinets filled with inlaid fingerboards, headplates, and bridges, along with a gallery of Martin artists and unique design accents, inspire creativity throughout the space.

How to Purchase a Custom Shop Guitar
