Love the guitar. It's got a soft touch to it and is fun and enjoyable to play. The fret action is smooth and really quite on fretboard transitions.
Not Happy So Far, We'll See How My Problem Resolves
I bought my Martin D16E brand new in September. In January I started noticing a metallic sound depressing the B string on the 2nd and 3rd fret. Today, I noticed the action is starting to get higher than it was when I purchased the guitar new. When my PRS had issues, they paid for shipping and took the guitar in right away. With Martin, I have to wait on a local repair person to intake my guitar into his home workshop and still have several days to go until he can look at it (after 2 weeks of waiting). He downplayed the issue already, so I feel like I'm walking into a situation where someone is going to try and charge me to "set the guitar up" when it shouldn't have these issues and these issues should 100% be covered under warranty for a $2,000 BRAND NEW guitar. We'll see what happens, but I hate that I paid $2,000 for a guitar that I believe has a compromised neck.
