GREAT GUITAR
Well I am 63 year that have played at playing a guitar since I was 16. I never could play anything but a C,G and D and very bad at strumming much less picking. Last year I started a journey to actually learn how to play. I have taken personal lessons from a professional musician and currently are using a couple of internet courses. I started with a Seagull Flaming Maple Performer CW QIT. It is a beautiful guitar and chose it for the 1.8 nut. I have fat short fingers and currently suffer from carpal tunnel on my fretting hand until surgery. I am also a large guy. So the Seagull is a big heavy guitar. I started looking for a smaller parlor that would fit me better. I looked at several different kinds and was about to get a Zager just based on their hype. I trust James Rawson at Rawson Music in OKC so I called him. I told him my situation. I asked him about Zager and my thoughts and after a discussion he said I have a Martin that is the easiest playing guitar in the country and I can set it up with really low action. I went in and looked at several models. Looked at a couple of models made in Mexico and they were really nice. More pretty than the GPC but when he put the GPC in my hands and strummed it I realized that I had found the guitar I was looking for and needed in order to progress in thru my journey. All wood and made in Nazareth it is a great value. I have always wanted a J45 but after playing several with the 1.72 nut and then playing the Martin that has the 1.75 nut and the low oval performance neck there is really no comparison. I have found a friend to take on my journey and now I love to pick it up. My abilities are progressing and I am starting to achieve my life long dream of playing the guitar for real........GPC16E is a absolutely great guitar for anyone from a stage performer singer/songwriter or just a ole campfire guy like me.
